Rejuran Biostimulation

Rejuran is a bio-stimulating biostimulator that harnesses purified polynucleotide (PN) DNA from salmon to repair and rejuvenate the skin. While its source may sound surprising, this powerful treatment has been safely used in Korea and Singapore for nearly a decade, enhancing collagen production, elasticity, and overall skin health.

Rejuran injections support cellular remodeling by:

Rejuran contains purified polynucleotides (DNA fragments) derived from salmon, chosen for their high compatibility with human skin.

Rather than adding volume like a filler, Rejuran works by activating your skin’s own repair processes. The polynucleotides stimulate fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin, while also calming inflammation and supporting cellular repair from within.

Over the weeks following treatment, this leads to gradual improvements in skin texture, elasticity, fine lines, pores, and overall skin quality. Results build naturally as your skin remodels itself.

Initial improvements can appear within the first two weeks, but full collagen remodeling takes 3-6 months. 

For optimal results, a series of 2-4 sessions spaced 3-6 weeks apart is recommended.

Most patients see the best results with 2-4 rejuran sessions spaced 3-6 weeks apart. For deeper wrinkles, sun damage, or skin laxity, a fourth session may be beneficial. To maintain collagen stimulation, 1-2 yearly treatments are recommended.

The procedure itself takes 10-15 minutes, with a 30-minute numbing gel application beforehand to minimize discomfort.

Recovery typically takes 1-2 days. The small injection blebs from Rejuran usually subside within 12-36 hours.

To minimize discomfort, a numbing gel will be applied to the treatment area for 30 minutes before the procedure. Once you’re ready, the treatment takes just 10-20 minutes, depending on the area. You may feel slight tingling, but the numbing gel makes the process well tolerated.

There’s minimal downtime, so you can return to your normal activities right away. As Rejuran stimulates collagen and skin repair, visible improvements typically begin within a few weeks. Peak results are seen at around 3 months, with smoother skin, fewer fine lines, and improved firmness.

To maintain optimal results, a second session is recommended after one month, helping to sustain collagen production for long-lasting skin rejuvenation.

Rejuran + Pico
A strong combination, especially for melasma and PIH:

• Pico clears the pigment, shattering melanin with minimal heat
• Rejuran reduces rebound and inflammation, the main cause of melasma recurrence after laser
• Speeds recovery and lowers PIH risk

Typically done in the same session (Pico first, Rejuran after) or alternating, over 3 to 4 sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, with strict sun protection.

Rejuran improves skin quality over time, whereas hydrators provide immediate, temporary results.

Melasma isn’t just a pigment problem. It’s now understood as a condition of damaged, inflamed skin, and that’s where Rejuran fits in.

In melasma skin, you typically find:

• Chronic low-grade inflammation that keeps stimulating melanocytes
• A damaged basement membrane, allowing pigment to drop into the dermis (which is why it recurs and resists treatment)
• Increased vascularity and sun-damaged dermis feeding the cycle

Rejuran addresses this underlying environment rather than the pigment itself:
