Dr. Devita Surjana
Dr. Devita Surjana is a general dermatology physician with particular interest in the treatment of psoriasis, eczema, acne and cutaneous malignancies. Dr. Surjana is also well known for her work in the fields of vulvar and paediatric dermatology.
After completing a medical degree at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Dr. Surjana continued on to obtain a PhD in Dermatology at the University of Sydney, researching skin cancer prevention.She completed rotations in the area’s busiest dermatology departments, including those of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s, Royal Children’s, Lady Cilento Children’s and Princess Alexandra hospitals, as well as at the Queensland Institute of Dermatology at Greenslopes Private Hospital.Dr. Devita Surjana is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
She has also published her research in national and international dermatology journals with regard to skin cancer chemo-prevention and general dermatology. She also works as Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is regularly involved in the teaching of medical students,dermatology registrars and residents at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, where she also acts as Visiting Medical Officer in Dermatology.
